Join CrossFit iQ on September 17, 2011 for a very special fundraising even, Fight Gone Bad 6. The event will take place from 9-11am and is free to participate. All proceeds collected from the event will help support The Special Operations Warrior Foundation, CrossFit Kids ISR and Camp Patriot. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is an organization which helps support families who have lost loved ones during battle or who have been severely injured. CF Kids ISR teaches children survival swimming skills and turns no child away. Camp Patriot is a program that takes injured veterans on outdoor adventures that would not normally be possible for them.
Fight Gone Bad is a WOD (workout) that was modeled after a MMA fight. Just like in MMA, FGB consists of 3 five minute rounds of ass kicking fun! You do not need to be an iQ member to participate and you can register by clicking on the link below. Ask friends, family members and co-workers to sponsor you and help increase your total donation (iQ will be handing out forms to keep track of your sponsors). Your sponsors can either donate a fixed dollar amount or donate on a per rep basis based on your performance. This truly is for a great cause so we encourage everyone to participate. Please contact Nicole with any questions or concerns and to pick up your Pledge Forms.
Keep in mind that FBG is a workout that anyone can do and you do not need to be an experienced CrossFitter to participate.
